Tax receipts are issued for monetary one-time donations of $20+. For donations under $20, tax receipts are issued upon request. Monthly donors will receive an annual tax receipt of their cumulative giving from the past year each February. Where does Kennedy House use my donation? Donations to Kennedy House go directly to Kennedy House programs that are not 100% government funded. This includes the Kennedy House Youth Shelter, After-School and Summer Programs, and specific areas of Kennedy House Residential Programs and Developmental Services. Is donating online secure? Yes. When you give Kennedy House personal information, such as credit card info, we take steps to ensure that it is treated securely. We also host events such as Coldest Night of the Year, which takes place every February to raise awareness and funds for youth homelessness.
