Donate Your Car Donate a Car Canada accepts Vehicle Donations for Kennedy House Free towing is provided in most areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or motorcycle to Kennedy House through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction (depending on its condition, age and location). Donate a Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for Kennedy House to benefit. After your vehicle donation is complete, you will receive a tax receipt and we will put your gift to good use. A reliable van would greatly enhance our ability to support youth by providing safe and efficient transportation. It would help us take youth to essential appointments, such as medical check-ups, job interviews, and community programs, as well as assist in picking up critical donations like food, clothing, and other essential supplies. Having a dependable vehicle would make a significant difference in the daily lives of the youth we serve, allowing us to better meet their needs and help them transition to more independent living. Tax receipts are issued for monetary one-time donations of $20+. For donations under $20, tax receipts are issued upon request. Monthly donors will receive an annual tax receipt of their cumulative giving from the past year each February. Where does Kennedy House use my donation? Donations to Kennedy House go directly to Kennedy House programs that are not 100% government funded. This includes the Kennedy House Youth Shelter, After-School and Summer Programs, and specific areas of Kennedy House Residential Programs and Developmental Services. Is donating online secure? Yes. When you give Kennedy House personal information, such as credit card info, we take steps to ensure that it is treated securely.
