These communities have been identified as areas in need of programming that will bring children together and give them new opportunities for recreation and academic support. COVID-19: After-School Program Update After much consideration, we have decided not to run the Kennedy House Fall Program for 2021. This decision was made as an effort to keep doing our part to ensure that our communities stay safe. While we hope to resume our After School programs in January 2022, we will continue to evaluate the situation as it progresses and will provide an update as soon as we can. Contact Us After-School Program: Locations The East Scarborough Storefront – offered to 25 children at Lawrence Ave and Orton Park Rd on Mondays and Thursdays from 3:30–5:30 p.m. Lynngate Junior Public School – offered to 25 children at Sheppard Ave and Birchmount Rd in Agincourt on Tuesdays from 3:30–5:30 p.m. Glamorgan – offered to 25 children in the Kennedy Rd & Highway 401 area on Wednesdays from 4:00–6:00 p.m. Photos Do you have questions?We have answers. How much does it cost to attend? Nothing! Kennedy House After-School Program is 100% free for families in high-priority neighbourhoods. We do have a capacity of 75 children. How can I enroll? We host registration days at the program locations (see above). You can contact us directly for more information. What do the kids do at the program? Our After-School staff run a variety of different activities, including arts & crafts, recreational activities, and homework help. Healthy after-school snacks are also provided.
