These communities have been identified as areas in need of programming that will bring children together and give them new opportunities for recreation and academic support. Our program is designed to support children from kindergarten through grade 8 in high-priority neighbourhoods, providing a safe and nurturing environment for them to thrive. Our free, play-based program strengthens social skills and self-esteem, combats childhood obesity, and improves futures. How much does it cost to attend? Nothing! Kennedy House After-School Program is 100% free for families in high-priority neighbourhoods. We do have a capacity of 75 children. How can I enroll? We host registration days at the program locations (see above). You can contact us directly for more information. What do the kids do at the program? Our After-School staff run a variety of different activities, including arts & crafts, recreational activities, and homework help. Healthy after-school snacks are also provided.
