About the Shelter Opened in 2014, Kennedy House Youth Shelter offers emergency and supportive care to youth ages 16-24 who are experiencing or are at risk of experiencing homelessness. Located in East York, Kennedy House Youth Shelter can house up to 23 youth in need. Contact Us Shelter Programming There are many factors that contribute to homelessness. At Kennedy House Youth Shelter we work to meet clients where they’re at. Programming offered includes, but is not limited to: financial literacy courses, cooking classes, art therapy, one-on-one counselling, substance abuse and harm reduction, sexual education classes, and more.
